The Mill
The Mill at Steele’s Mill is a beautifully restored three-storey former corn mill, combining historic character with contemporary comforts. Original millstones and workings are preserved beneath glass, oak floors run throughout, and river views flood the living spaces with light.
Sleeping up to four guests in two ensuite bedrooms, with a well-equipped kitchen, cosy first-floor lounge and balcony over the River Lyvennet, the Mill offers a unique 5-star holiday home in the heart of Cumbria.

We had three nights at Steele’s Mill and cannot recommend it highly enough. In an amazing part of the world, we went on some fantastic walks nearby (recommend the Mill Yard Cafe in Morland too) and had a really relaxed time! The place has a really unique feel with a restored mill on the ground floor and well maintained. Definitely worth a visit.
